Led by Chef and Owner Carolina Trundle, whose 26 years of experience are rooted in her childhood in Mexico and Playa del Carmen and inspired by her Mexican and Honduran heritage, every dish reflects mastery, tradition, and vibrant flavors. Fresh seafood, tender marinated meats, aromatic herbs, and tropical fruits bring every plate and handcrafted drink to life.
 

Our signature dishes are designed to transport you to the coasts of Central America and the Caribbean, celebrating bold, authentic tastes:
 

• Tulum Shrimp Cocktail — plump, zesty shrimp in house-made cocktail sauce with fresh herbs and creamy avocado

• Pulpo Sarandeado — smoky, tender grilled octopus over a garlicky cilantro sauce

• Tacos Hondureños — crispy golden tortillas filled with seasoned chicken, fresh cabbage, tangy salsa, and creamy regional cheese

• La Super Baleada — handmade flour tortilla filled with refried beans, cheese, sour cream, churrasco steak, bacon, sausage, eggs, and avocado, showcasing authentic Honduran flavors

• Pollo Chuco (Crispy Whole Fried Chicken) — a Honduran favorite, served over fried plantains or fries, topped with cabbage, pico de gallo, cilantro, hard regional cheese, and house-made dressing (available Wednesdays only), one of La Costa’s signature dishes

• Campechano Molcajete — a hearty celebration of marinated churrasco, house-made pork chorizo, pork chops, and chicken, layered with refried beans, melted cheese, tomato sauce, green onions, and serrano peppers.
